Cozy atmosphere in common areas gives a homey feel, perfect for winding down after a day of adventures. The dining experience delivers generous portions with a notable focus on local cuisine, particularly the delightful haggis and black pudding dishes.

Dated decor throughout leaves a bit to be desired. rooms could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and modern furnishings. The shower in the standard king room felt cramped and uncomfortable, making it challenging to move around. Noise from the neighboring rooms and HVAC system could disrupt sleep, particularly noticeable if you're not a heavy sleeper. Plus, the lack of a parking lot might pose a challenge for those arriving by car, though street parking is usually available.

It was just a nice choice for a brief pause in Alyth with good value for cost. The bed was comfy, allowing for a great night's sleep. Consider taking advantage of the good deals on drinks during your stay.

Loved the great coffee machines and comfy beds, but bathroom needs a refresh.

Had a great time with friends! We visited Glamis Castle and played some golf at Kirriemuir Golf Club, both being close and fun! Rooms were comfortable enough, and the staff were friendly. A perfect spot for gatherings, just manage expectations around cleaning.

One downside was the poor WiFi that confused our group. We struggled with incorrect codes which wasn’t ideal for planning our days.

Had a good stay with fabulous food, especially the fish and chips, and the second night’s nachos were delightful. The decor felt a bit dated, but it added to the charm. I'd definitely return.
