The food was excellent good early breakfast before setting out for the day you have your own key for main door, very friendly staff.

Our arrival was somewhat of a surprise to the staff however we had a room - a beautiful family room ...for two.. Double bed and two singles very nicely decorated. Try the Steaks the chef has it down to perfection only minus mark was the jug the sauce was in had no handle - so couldnt be poured easily as it was very hot_ as it should be, and partner had to wrap a napkin around it to try and pour - the then dropped it back onto the plate by accident- but it didnt break tg

Jack's ( their terrier) hair was in the bathroom but I think he may have been visiting the room when it was being done and I know dog hair gets everywhere, very small shower but good heat in the water so not a real problem, just for larger folk and a family it may make life a little difficult

Location: the hotel was so close to the square overlooking the river. Furthermore, it was a walking distance from The Studio, loved it.

Reasonably large and well-appointed room with a window which would n't open, coffee, as example as advertised. An interesting area, perfect location just next door to the square overlooking the river, 3 local convenience stores and the restaurant.

During my weekend stay, I was impressed by the close proximity to the Alyth Museum, just a stone's throw away, and the serene Alyth Den that offers peaceful walking trails nearby. The breakfast was 1st class and served with a smile, rounding off my mornings perfectly.

We found the staff to be friendly and enjoyed some great pub grub , especially the fish and chips that really hit the spot after a long day exploring nearby attractions like the cateran ecomuseum, just a short 5-minute walk away, and the captivating alyth museum right on our doorstep.

Cozy atmosphere in common areas gives a homey feel, perfect for winding down after a day of adventures. The dining experience delivers generous portions with a notable focus on local cuisine, particularly the good haggis and black pudding dishes.

Dated decor throughout leaves a bit to be desired. Rooms could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and modern furnishings. The shower in the standard king room felt cramped and uncomfortable. Noise from the neighboring rooms and HVAC system could disrupt sleep, particularly noticeable if you're not a heavy sleeper. Plus, the lack of a parking lot might pose a challenge for those arriving by car, though street parking is usually available.

It was just a nice choice for a brief pause in Alyth with good value for cost. The bed was comfy, awesome for a great night's sleep. Consider taking advantage of the good deals on drinks during your stay.

Loved the great coffee machines and comfy beds, but bathroom needs a refresh.

We visited Glamis Castle and played some golf at Kirriemuir Golf Club, both being close and fun! Rooms were comfortable enough, and the staff were friendly. A perfect spot for gatherings, just manage expectations around cleaning.

One downside was the poor WiFi that confused our group. We struggled with incorrect codes which wasn't ideal for planning our days.

Had a good stay with fabulous food, especially the fish and chips, and the second night’s nachos were delightful. The decor felt a bit dated, but it added to the charm. I'd definitely return.

The room had a great shower and a comfy bed. I especially liked the quality of the toiletries provided in the bathroom.

Especially the manager. We indulged in a good dinner at the bistro that featured hearty portions and local flavors. Don't skip the lounge for a relaxing evening drink! Perfect for a romantic getaway.
